General Policy
Due to the nature of our products, consumable or food items — including all BENBU matcha teas — are non-returnable and non-refundable once shipped.
Only tea accessories (non-food items) are eligible for return or refund within 30 days from the date of purchase.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition as when you received it — unworn, unused, with original tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need to provide a receipt or proof of purchase.
How to Start a Return
To start a return or request a refund, please contact us at info@benbumatcha.com with your order number and details. We will provide instructions and the appropriate return address.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.
If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us right away at info@benbumatcha.com so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Some items cannot be returned, including:
- Perishable goods (such as food, plants, or flowers)
- Custom products (such as personalized items or special orders)
- Personal care items (such as beauty products)
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
- Sale items and gift cards

Shipping Costs for Returns
Unless the return is due to our error (wrong or defective item), customers are responsible for paying the return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 5–10 business days (timing may vary depending on your bank or card issuer).
